POEM FOR SOLDIER LEE

Out of nowhere the car sped
Knocked me over now I'm dead ,
they did not give me a chance
to fight them like a man on my feet ,
then cut me up like a piece of meat ,
as I lay in the street dead , these two
cowards cut off my head .
My spirit does nothing but cry as I did
not get the chance to say Goodbye ,
My girlfriend has been flown home to
be by my side and her love for me
she cannot hide .
what now will happen to my little boy
as he is only two years old but he will
have to be told .
that his daddy has gone to the angels
above but still sends down all his love ,
As for my girl what will she now do
as her life is now in ruins too .
What will happen to our country now
will the the Government wake up I don't
think so somehow,
for as Enoch said the streets will run
with blood ,
but they never do listen as they should ,
this kind of killing will go on and on ,
until there is a civil war by someone .
for if this kind of thing is allowed to carry on
how many people will lose a daughter or son ,
As a mark of respect to soldier Lee we must
end this killing spree ,
and bring our boys and girls home from this
terrible war and try to stop all the killing
on our shore ...
