A SOLDIERS WAR -------------------------- The year is 1967 that's way back when , we were sent to a country called Aden , paroling the Red sea Shops and the Mala Mane not even 21 so young to witness all the sorrow and pain , four good men lost Jimmy , Charlie , Rod and young private Dry , and the question we asked is why Oh why , then the Falklands and N.I. Both of them with death tolls so high and still not given the reason why , then came Iraq and Saddam who they thought had WM.D. But they did not find the bloody W.M.D another death toll so high and still they do not tell us the reason why , Now it's Afghanistan and still they are killing our women and man , they say it's to stop the heroin and the drugs war but they don't care about our troops getting killed by the score , why not stop this bloody awful war and instead spend that money to stop all these horrible drugs from reaching our shore . A soldiers task ---------------------- We are serving our country in a far off land , we try to do all we can, yes we are here in the land of Afghanistan we are here stop the faction they call the Taliban , they are a fearsome fighting foe . and we must prove we are a more fearsome foe , they leave their mines and roadside bombs all over the place making our life a deadly race , the battles rage in the streets and town as they kill men and women without a frown . A lot of good men and women have fallen to them shot by the sniper and battle hardened men , the suicide bomber with his deadly pack is a fearsome foe with the bomb on his back . there have been men killed with what was thought to be a friendly force , but they were fighting for the Taliban of course , !! why Oh !! Oh can we not pull our boys and girls out of this battle Zone and let them all come safe home . Author Roy Muir

THE DAY GOD CALLED YOU HOME =============================== God looked around his garden and saw an empty space , he then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face , he put his arms around you , and lifted you to rest , Gods garden must beautiful he always takes the best , he knew that you were suffering , he knew you were in pain , he knew that you would never , get well on earth again , he saw the road was getting rough , and the hills are hard to climb , so he closed your weary eyelids , and whispers peace be thine , It broke our hearts to lose you , but you didn’t go alone , part of us went with you , the day God called you home ,

WAR The bugles play the drum beats the score as our young men and women are marching to war , the shells overhead whistle and the bullets fly , then we hear the big cannons roar our young soldiers are killed by the score , fighting and running all orders to obey ,
hoping and praying they will live for another day , the trenches are dug the sentries are out and the sergeant has his orders to shout , take cover take cover as the enemy 's planes scream by, firing their missiles for more men or women to die , back home loved ones are struck with worry and pain , as we don't to see a big war again so commanders and general's with your ranks so high please try to stop all the wars 0n land sea and in sky .
