This is once again how the government repay our brave armed forces. What are they thinking? So they get rid of 8,000 experienced personnel, being the over 45's, its like removing all management from a company they need their heads testing! I am sure this will pact many waiting to finish their 22 as well, wonder how much money that will save the government that they then can give to a foreign country!

I think its absolutely disgusting...instead of attacking our troops who contribute to our country and put their lives on the line everyday for us...think about possibly firing alot of the 45+ who dont know what they're talking about everyday, building up expenses !!!! Its a disgrace that they get away with it and think the government itself needs a good shake up !!!

I would love to see the same happen to the government. They make these decisions that can make a huge change to someone ( and their families) life. Yet no one in government will understand how this feels about time the government had a taste of its own medicine

Usually the government personnel that want to cut military are ones who have never served. They are under the false assumption that the govt has the arbitration skills to keep the country safe. No country has ever been safe without it's military. Government needs to get rid of the unnecessary ppl in their own midst before they get rid of soldiers.
