What did you think of the new military drama HomeFront? I thought it was very good, emotional first episode but looks like it will get very interesting.

I haven't watched all of it yet, just half while on break on catch up earlier today. I know it's taken a panning from some people on Twitter who said it wasn't true to life, that's true but...it's a drama and they don't represent life exactly or else they wouldn't be a drama, they'd be a documentary. So far, I think it's a good drama. Soldier, Soldier was one of the best loved drama's of its time and wasn't accurately representative either. Give Homefront a chance, I think it's going to be good and don't pan it because it's partially dramatised.

Just caught up with HomeFront. I though it was very emotional and heart-breaking but a good insight into what military familys and servers in the forces have to face every day. Thank you sooooo much solider for all that we have and all that we always will have because of you x

I only saw the first episode and was not that impressed to be honest! I didn't feel a great deal of empathy towards the wives/partners, I got the impression that they were all out to have good time and not worry about their husbands/partners. I wondered if that is really a true portrayal of life for those left behind. Maybe I should watch some more and then comment again!
